The challenge

Montage Gold needed satellite connectivity for its mining operations in Côte d'Ivoire.

What we did

  • Installed a 1.2m Ku-band VSAT terminal with an iFast-IP modem and a 2W Ku-band BUC at the Koné deposit site in Fadiadougou, completed 20 November 2019.
  • Work covered site selection, building the terminal, antenna pointing, carrier line-up and link test, cross-polarisation alignment and activation, grounding and job documentation.

The result

The mining operations have a VSAT link installed by our engineers.
