Accessibility statement

We want everyone, including people who use assistive technologies, to be able to read about our services and contact us without difficulty.

Global IT Firm is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities. We keep improving the site for all users and apply the relevant accessibility standards to globalitfirm.net.

1. Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA.

Partially conformant  "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are working through the remaining items listed below.

2. Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML with landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a "skip to main content" link on every page.
  • Keyboard operability for navigation, menus, search and forms, with visible focus indicators.
  • Text and interface colours checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text).
  • Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images, and labels associated with every form field.
  • Respect for the operating-system "reduce motion" setting for animations.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow to 320 px without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
  • Icons are SVG graphics hidden from screen readers and always paired with visible text labels, so no meaning is lost.

3. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of, and are addressing, the following:

  • Embedded map: the Google Maps embed on the Contact page is provided by a third party. A text address and directions link are always available as an alternative.
  • Data tables (e.g. the solution comparison) scroll horizontally on small screens.
If you find a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us. Reports from users decide what we fix next.

5. Assessment and standards

We assess this website's accessibility through a combination of automated tooling and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing. Our target standards are WCAG 2.2 AA and, for organisations serving the EU, the technical requirements referenced by the European Accessibility Act (EN 301 549). This statement will be reviewed and updated as we make improvements.

6. Enforcement

If you contact us with a concern and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter through the applicable consumer-protection or equality body in your jurisdiction. We would, however, always prefer the chance to put things right first.
